FAMILY AND CHILD LIFE :
Virat kohli was born on 5th November, 1988 in a punjabi family of Delhi. Virat's father was Prem kohli and he was a criminal lawyer. Virat's mother name was Saroj kohli and she was a housewife. Virat was smallest boy in three brother and sisters. He was very loved one of his father. He was studied in Vishal bharti school and when he was in 9th standard, he was taken to Savior convent school of delhi which was helpful for his cricket practice. 

JOURNEY AND STRUGGLES TO BECOME CRICKETER :
When virat was a 9 year old boy he was watching cricket match. In that match, Sachin has played a memorable innings and virat was motivated so much. In that year, West Delhi Cricket Academy was established which was near to virat's house. Virat's father took him to the cricket academy and luckily virat's selection was done. His father supported him and virat joined another cricket Academy too. It was virat's father who wanted to see playing him cricket.

Virat too become serious about his cricket career. At the age of 13 years, virat played under-15 cricket tournament in Delhi team and virat scored highest run in the match. Virat was awarded for highest run and award was given by Ashish nehra. After a great practice and hard work, virat becomes a good batsman. 

At the age of 18 years, virat was selected for under-19 tour for England. Indian team has won the series. Then, virat has become a debutant for class cricket career in Delhi team. Virat was able to score only 10 runs in first match and he was out. At that time, virat's father's health was ruined and he was admitted to hospital. At that time virat was playing a four day test match. Virat was on the crease and he was still not out. His team was in danger as 5 wickets were fall early and virat was the hope. But, unfortunately his father got a brain stroke and he passed away at midnight. But, shockingly virat was on the crease on next morning and scored 90 runs in the match. After the match virat ran for his father's funeral. It shows his dedication level and spirit for the game. 

That was the toughest time in virat's career as his beloved father passed away. In 2008, India has won the under-19 world cup under virat's captaincy. On that year, RCB has chosen virat kohli in their team with the youth contact of 20 lakh rupees. Because of his great performance, he was selected to Indian cricket team in ODI.

But, another tough situation exists. Virat had lost his wicket on 12 runs in his ODI debut match. Because of which, he was dropped from Indian team. Once again the hard time comes in the life of kohli. But he bounced back. He selected as a emerging player while a tournament was held in Australia. He was the highest run scorer of that tournament. He was again selected for the Indian team. Then, he doesn't look back and breaks many records. He always work on his fitness and he is among the top fittest athelete. He becomes a very consistent player. Because of his great and record breaking performance, he was also compared with the god of cricket i.e. Sachin Tendulkar. Now, the player who can break sachin's record is virat kohli. 

Virat has a great willing power and a good attitude towards his goal. He never give up whatever the situation is. He believe in himself. He doesn't see how tough is the situation and believe in himself. There are many qualities which make him a successful cricketer. You may troll him for his bad captaincy but you cannot ignore him when the topic is of a good batsman or cricketer. You can take him as an example and keep yourself motivated. 

SOME INTERESTING FACTS :
Virat hasn't completed his school. He is only 11th passed and can't compete his 12th because he was playing under-19 World Cup. 

In 2009, when virat scored his first century, at that time Gautam Gambhir too scored 150 runs. Gautam has given his man of the match award to kohli. The interesting part was that 150 runs innings of gautam gambhir was his highest scores runs at that time. 

In 2017, the brand value of virat kohli was more than 120 million dollar which means he has highest brand value in India. 

In 2017, virat has announced that he would not promote such things which is harmful for health like soft drinks and fried chips and dropped Pepsi and fairness product advertisement. He wanted that next generations too have good health.

All of us remembered the century is Sachin at Sarjah and virat's father after that match want that virat join cricket Academy. 

Virat's highest score is 183 vs Pakistan and this is the highest score by a batsman against Pakistan whole over world.

Virat has been awarded by Arjuna award and he was one of the youngest one at the age of 25.

After virat's father death, he was not ready to play the match against karnataka but his coach Rajkumar sharma advised him that his father wants him to see him playing the match. After that virat was ready to play. 

In 2015, during India vs Bangladesh virat was doing wicket keeping when MS dhoni was gone for a washroom break and after one over he returned the gloves. 

In 2016, during IPL when RCB have to win the match for qualifying for playoffs virat was injured but he was playing the match with stitches in the hand and scored a century for the victory over kings XI Punjab.
